    My comment isn’t about pharmaceutical food but this is as good a place as any to put it I guess, so here it is.

    Is there any food left that has not been genetically modified??!!!! A#172

    We bought some corn on the cob. I pealed off the husk and from out of the tip of the corn there was growing a thin one inch long spike!! 😡

    It felt plasticy and was very very hard. I’ve never seen anything like that before and was astounded at how hard the spike was. I boiled the corn thinking that the spike would soften but it did not.

    Then there are the crazy tomatoes!
    I always remove the stem and starting about 2 or 3 years ago they now have roots!
    I have to dig deep to get it out, and sometimes it’s in there so deep with so many ‘root branches’ I have to cut the tomato in half to get it out. 😡

    I’ve mentioned before about head lettuce that feel and look like a cross between a cabbage and lettuce.

    That spike was really weird!! And it didn’t feel ‘woody’ it felt like plastic.
