Be sure to read the UPDATE at the end of this post.
Yikes!! I can’t say for sure if any of this is true but it sure looks like it is! I haven’t really followed Alex’s work, I just watched a couple videos and read some things. I knew things were not going so good for him, and he was having a hard time but I didn’t know that he had colon cancer and that he and his family were homeless!! Go here to get details http://starshipearththebigpicture.com/2015/04/03/alex-collier-an-urgent-plea-for-help/ UPDATE: I just went to AlexCollier.org and there is nothing there about this. That doesn’t mean that it is a scam, but it might be. I don’t know for sure. It just seems to me that James Harkin would post about it there. You’ll have to carefully check things out for your selves. Also it might be best to go directly to AlexCollier.org to donate. Here’s the link http://www.alexcollier.org/

Dirty trick: Abbotsford’s manager takes responsibility for dumping manure on homeless campsite
……………. Breckenridge, writing in the online newspaper Abbotsford Today, attacked the city for dumping the manure on a Gladys Street homeless camp near the Salvation Army.
“I have stood on it, and smelled it, and had a good look at it,” Breckenridge told The Province after visiting the manure-filled camp.
“From my point of view, it’s a new low — using manure, especially chicken manure, in light of bird flu. We had to destroy a million birds in the Fraser Valley because of avian flu.”…………….

Molesting garbage containers. ??!! Whatever!!!
……………. “molesting garbage containers” is illegal. James Kelly, a 44-year-old Navy veteran, was passing through Houston on his way to connect with family in California. Homeless, destitute, and hungry, he chose to check out the dining delicacies in a trash bin near City Hall. Spotted by police, Kelly was promptly charged with “disturbing the contents of a garbage can in the [central] business district.” Seriously.
Also, in 2012, city officials made it a crime for any group to hand out food to the needy in the downtown area without first getting a permit. It’s a cold use of legal authority to chase the homeless away to…well, anywhere else.
Such laws are part of an effort throughout the country to criminalize what some call “homeless behavior.”…………….
